Legislature:In the Federal House of Representatives Congressman Ed Towns (NY-10) has introduced the Athletic Trainers' Equal Access to Medicare Act of 2009 (ATEAM) -- H.R. 1137. This bill would improve patient access to athletic trainers, allow physician choice of a wider range of qualified health care professionals, and restore the ability of athletic trainers to work incident-to a physician. Please contact your Congressman or Congresswoman and tell them that you want them to sponsor this bill.

Shirts: The final day to order shirts will be at our next
ATSA meeting on September 7th. People interested in shirts can contact
Sparks.

Dues: Dues are due to Becky as soon as possible this money is needed by the club to pay for speakers, food, and other various costs that come up during the course of the year. Dues for everyone are now $5 for this semester and they will go up throughout the remainder of the semester, so it's better to pay now than wait. You will not receive any CEU credit if you do not pay your dues.
